In addition to Teacher and Student Voice, Parent Voice is a standalone module with the following characteristics:

Parent Voice: logistically the most difficult survey to do but consistently viewed by schools as being effective in unfreezing existing cultures.
Teachers interview up to three parents in a one-on-one structured way that allows measurement of how well the school is meeting parents needs and stimulates a dialogue between teachers and parents

Parent responses are very stable, essentially parental satisfaction is driven by the quality of teachers and the quality of the school environment in terms of safety.

The report that is generated from such a process is shown as a slide show here.

Teachers interview two to three parents each, asking the interviewee to order the cards as if they were deciding between schools. Value cards are placed in order of having the greatest impact on the parent's decision.

Once the order is established, the interviewee is then asked to rate each value for their child's school environment. There is a further opportunity to provide some contextual narrative around the thinking of the rating.

Parent Voice can complete the input into the senior leadership team in a school, providing a robust and strategic indicator of the levels of parent satisfaction in the school. Further, school leaders will not only be able to gauge which of the 17 parent values has most impact on parental satisfaction and the degree to which the current culture is expressing those values.
